Full-Charge Bookkeeper

All County Roofing is seeking to hire a part-time or contract Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This position will require office hours at our office located at 2650 S. Cole Road, Boise, Idaho.

This position will be responsible for managing the financial operations of a top-rated Idaho roofing contractor.

  • 3-5 years experience as a full-charge bookkeeper in the construction/roofing industry

  • QuickBooks Certified

  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other office programs

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work

  • Excellent organization skills

  • Diligence to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods


  • Invoice jobs and collect payments

  • Work with insurance companies for efficient and timely billing and payment

  • Track and analyze job costs

  • Reconcile supplier invoices

  • Reconcile credit card and bank statements

  • Manage billing and payments to suppliers and subcontractors

  • Financial reporting to include a quarterly balance sheet and P & L

  • Account for fixed assets and inventory

  • Collect information as needed for annual audits

  • Maintain a coherent system of accounts, with a supporting filing system

  • Monitor cash levels

  • Manage vendor rewards programs

  • May assist with payroll and tax payments

  • Other bookkeeping tasks as necessary

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Average days to collect

  • Avg days to invoice

  • Meeting budget goals

  • Tasks completed on time with accuracy

  • Attendance
